Don’t Give Up On Getting Healthy

The human body is a remarkable mechanism. You can reverse years of abuse in just months, by eating right, getting some fresh air, sunshine, exercise and the vitamins and minerals that your body desperately wants and needs.

As you might expect, I get a lot of mail from people who have various health problems, some of them easily fixable and some of
them not. But no matter what, you have to remain positive in the face of adversity.

Making ANY type of change isn’t easy.

It takes courage and commitment.

But the rewards of persistence are more than just a healthy body. It breeds a confidence that extends to other areas of your life.

You may be overweight and haven’t been able to lose the pounds.

Don’t give up.

You may have “fibromyalgia” and can’t seem to function in the world.

Don’t give up.

Your child may have eczema, allergies, and asthma and you so desperately want to help them.

Don’t give up.

We live in a very polluted, stressed out world with a rapidly increasing disease rate. Just accept it, don’t get mad about it, but make strides to overcome it.

Learn.

Educate yourself on what it takes to be healthy. We are in the Information Age. The answers are out there.

Do everything, but give up.

At times all odds may seem against you, but you’ll find the way. Last November I thought for sure I was going to either have to live with major dysfunction in my left knee or go have an MRI, bite the bullet and get it surgically fixed. I had constant swelling and horrible instability.

I really didn’t want to go that route so I made up my mind that the right solution would present itself.

And, here we are 6 months later and  my knee feels 10 times better and I am regaining lost function. I have a ways to go, but I seem to be on the right track.

I didn’t give up.
