It’s that time of year again. November is the month to be grateful and think of others.
So, Larsen Wellness Center has become a host site for the Forest Lake Food Pantry from now until November 18th.
In 2010, the Forest Lake Food Pantry served 2,404 households, 296 being new families
2,681 were children
536 were age 65 and up
247,230 pounds of food was distributed
5,385 hours were worked by volunteers
So, bring in any non-perishable item with you to your next visit. Our goal is to collect 200 pounds of food, and according to the the food shelf, every 1.28 pounds is equal to one meal.
