Where Did You Leave Your Keys? – Zero Resistance Living

Because of our ever increasing exposure to neurotoxic chemicals, electromagnetic pollution, poor nutrition and more, our brains are not as sharp as they used to be.

And we start to do things like misplace our keys.

But those aren’t the keys I am talking about today.

Nope.

I’m talking about the Keys to Your Happiness.

Never ever give up the keys to your own happiness!

You wouldn’t give out the keys to your house, or your car, or anything else for that matter…

So why would you let someone else (or some circumstances) lock your happiness away?

There’s a problem though.

Steadfastly holding the key to your own happiness means you have to take some personal responsibility for your feelings.

Once you can take personal responsibility for your own happiness, a lot of problems will melt away.

The circumstances may still be there, but you’ll perceive them a whole lot differently.

For example…

Time.

We all have a finite amount of time in a day.

But it’s how we spend it that counts. Let’s use the dreaded E-word as an example.

Exercise

Many people have told me they don’t have time to exercise.

Not 10 minutes?

Not 5 minutes?

“Well, yeah, but what good is that going to do?”

ALOT!

Reason #1 It’s better than nothing!

You would be amazed at how efficient a workout you can get in just 5 minutes per day.

Reason #2 Something mysterious starts to happen…

Newton’s Law. A body in motion wants to stay in motion.

Meaning, once you get going, you don’t want to stop!

You really DO have time. Next thing you know, your brain is scanning time throughout

the day to fit your workouts in.

You start changing priorities.

You automatically get up a little earlier.

We are wired to be goal seeking beings.

If we don’t have a goal…

Well, THAT is our goal!

So we always, always, always need to be programming our minds with some sort of goal.

It’s why Dr. Maltz named his techniques Psycho-Cybernetics.

Psycho stands not for crazy, but for the human mind.

And cybernetics comes from a Greek word which means “helmsman, a person who steers a ship to a port”.

It’s literally steering your mind to an intended destination.

And it’s the most important FIRST step.

Without a goal, you are a ship without a port.

Pick a goal and set it. Let your automatic guidance system steer you.
