Cellphone Causing Abdominal Muscle Weakness In Fitness Professional

We certainly aren’t going to get rid of our technology, but we do have to be aware of what it is doing to us.

In this video you will see Chris Costello from Renaissance Fitness & Kettlebell Skool having trouble with an abdominal muscle. In particular, I found it was the Transverse Abdominus Lower Division on the left side.

This is a key muscle that needs to be working correctly, otherwise it creates a lack of stability in the lower back region. Quite commonly this is a muscle that physical therapists and trainers try to help people strengthen.

But what if something is interfering with it’s ability to work correctly?

What then?
