As a healthcare practitioner I get asked about various supplements…
And my standard answer has always been, I don’t trust anything that comes from a store, or is sold online.
I have just seen too much junk out there.
And this new research I found further confirms that.
In the past four years, 1 in 2 inspections by the FDA have turned up significant manufacturing practice violations for supplements.
Yes, 1 out of 2, or 50% of the inspections!
This startling statistic just so happens to be the highest rate of any FDA regulated industry for non-compliance.
Yes, like I have always said, this is a VERY big deal.
You get what you pay for.
And in this case you could be doing yourself much more harm than good.
Now, in addition to this, in 2012 84 products, such as energy and muscle gain products were found to contain dangerous ingredients,
including steroids, stimulants and hormones.
ALL TESTED PRODUCTS WERE EASILY OBTAINED FROM ONLINE AND RETAIL STORES.
More than half of American adults use dietary supplements.
Which is a very, very good thing due to toxicity, nutrient depletion and our ever escalating stress.
However, we NEED to be choosing wisely.
I have spent time at manufacturing facilities, and speaking with the scientists at several nutritional companies.
I take this subject VERY seriously…..
and I don’t mess around.
I know that my family’s future depends on it, and I am not willing to risk heading over to GNC or some grocery store to find the cheapest product I can find.
I always look for value.
And the value of a supplement that is a little more expensive, yet produces much more benefit, and won’t do me harm FAR outweighs a cheap one that who knows what is in it.

It’s one of the most important things you can possibly do to secure a bright future for yourself and your loved ones.
I get pretty excited about this topic, I know. It’s just that I have talked with too many scientists and heard the stories about what is in products, and where the raw materials come from.
Instead of coming from the heart and trying to HELP people, most of the companies out there are just trying to make a buck. The higher the profit the better….
NOT okay in my book.
Anyway, enough with my rant!
