56 Year Old Man Wakes Up Every Night With Head Smashed To The Wall

A rather strange case I had was a man who came to me with an interesting problem. He wanted help because he would wake up every night with his head smashed into the headboard or wall.

This had been going on for decades, since he was a young kid. It was so bad that he had to move his bed into the middle of the room to try to stop this from happening.

Talk about a strange problem, and an even stranger request to see a chiropractor with.

But he knew I had extra training. He had searched this website and talked with some friends. He had faith I could solve his near life-long issue.

When I took him on as a patient I told him I didn’t know if this symptom would get better, but I think I knew why it was happening.

When he was young there were several accidents he had to his skull. Car accidents, bike accidents, etc. This left him with a skull that was crying out for help.

The cry for help was in the form of trying to relieve brain pressure while he slept.

Remember, the plates of the skull move and this motion is critical for life. Without proper motion, these bodies we live in start to break down rapidly.

So I analyzed his skull and began to make corrections to relieve the pressure. Several visits later and he was able to move his bed back against the wall for the first time in decades.

The pressure on his brain had been removed and he no longer subconsciously was trying to self correct himself.

The power of the human brain is remarkable. For decades his brain was trying desperately to correct the problem.

And no doctor this man ever went to over the years made any connection to his fixated skull. Because of course, as we all know the skull doesn’t move, it fuses with age….wink, wink.

Do You Do CranioSacral Therapy?

No. CranioSacral Therapy is taught mainly to massage therapists. It is extremely light touch. It involves holding a contact on the sacrum and occiput often for up to 45 minutes. It can be of benefit, but I do something different.

I was taught and have continued to refine a technique that utilizes more energy in the adjustments. It is applied in a specific and concise direction to correct the position of the misaligned cranial bones. These cranial adjustments are the fan favorite of my patients and is what most of them look forward to each visit.
