Cool iPhone Exercise App

I often get asked the question, what is the best exercise for (fill in the blank).

And, my answer is always, the one you will consistently do! I mean you could have the best workout on the planet, the most efficient, will build the most muscle, burn the most fat and transform you into a super model overnight, but if you don’t do it, it really doesn’t matter!

With that being said, I wanted to introduce you to a cool exercise app for the iPhone called the Nike Training Club.

My wife started using it and she loved it, so I gave it a try and I was blown away!

Here is a FREE workout that you can take anywhere you go. The only equipment usually required,  or at least recommended, is a few small dumbbells and a medicine ball. And, if you don’t have these, you can still do the workout!

It’s an easy way to get motivated and have a trainer right there with you taking you from exercise to exercise. The workouts are anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes and you can choose your target, such as to get lean, get strong, get toned, or even work on a specific body part such as your abs.

You can even set a playlist of music.

Overall, I give it 2 thumbs up. Every time I do one of the workouts, I KNOW I got a great workout!

The one downfall?

The app won’t drag you out of bed in the morning and make you do it!

So, as long as you have some motivation to change your health and fitness, but just don’t know what to do for a workout, this might be the workout for you.

Enjoy! And leave a comment if you try out the workouts.

    Get an iPhone Renee!!

Alright, so not everybody has one. A deck of cards works really well too. This is the workout I did this morning.

    Clubs: Tablemakers
    Hearts: Hindu Squats
    Spades: V-Ups
    Diamonds: Hindu Pushups

Basically just turn a card over from the deck and do the number of repetitions on the card. All face cards are 10 reps, Aces can be either 10, 1 or any other number you want. Keep flipping over the cards until the deck is through….or until you are!

I’ll have to post more info on each of the exercises. And guess what, there is a really cool iPhone app for this one too so you don’t need a deck of cards!
