Ear Piercing Causing One Sided Body Pain

With all the millions of people that have their ears pierced, could it be possible that it could cause pain in a remote body area?

The answer is yes.

This one took me a little longer to figure out, but when I finally noticed the one-side earrings, within seconds we solved the problem.

Now, I don’t know why they caused this type of reaction, but I do see it from time to time.

More often in belly button piercings, tongue, or some other place other than the ears. But…the ears can have their problems as well.

The key is to look with a curious mind. Don’t rule anything out just because it sounds stupid, or just not possible.

The cause of any given problem is not always where the pain is.

It’s amazing how fast the body can return to normal once the disturbance has been removed.

You’re the only website that writes about this. At least that o could easily find on Google. I too had this issue after mo ths of hospital visits and excrutiating one side of upper body neurotic/joint/arthritic pain in my hands/arms/shoulder/traps on my right side. I thought hard on what I had changed in my life… I took my tiny earings I had forgot about (I am a man , 35 years old) and my pain went away within seconds. Would love to more info about this.

I’m glad you found your answer. It just has to do with how the piercings are affecting the nerves. If they get activated the wrong way, it creates a withdrawal response in the nervous system.
