Last nights mens college basketball national championship game was one of the most chaotic games I have ever watched.
Both teams were playing at a very fast pace.
But Florida looked out of sync most of the game.
They were taking tough shots and were allowing Houston to dictate the flow of the game.
Down by 12 at one point it looked like Houston had the upper hand. Florida’s best player didn’t even score in the first half.
But Florida would not break.
They fought back.
They wouldn’t quit. After all, the National Championship was on the line.
Nothing was more important than winning that game.
Some teams would have quit and ended up losing that game by 25. But not Florida. Not last night.
I see this with many of my patients on their health journey.
Many of them have been beat up for years (like Florida most of the game).
They have been searching, trying to find answers to their health problems.
And they won’t quit.
When they get to my door I can see the fire in their eyes. I know they are in it for the long haul and they won’t quit until we accomplish the job.
But I also see the opposite.
I see people that are so close to their victory, but they stop short.
Sometimes we need somebody in our corner telling us to just keep going. Sometimes the road is very difficult.
And quite often it doesn’t even make any sense.
But we each have a road we must take.
I’ll leave you with this….
Just keep going. Whatever it is you are searching for. Don’t stop.
Your victory might be just one more step away.
Check out some of the results we have had over the years. Many of these people had struggled for years, even decades.
