Back in about 2005 one of my mentors gave a rare public appearance at the local chiropractic school.
He was one of those people who wasn’t all about the limelight. He just quietly built an extremely successful office treating patients from all walks of life.
His practice was built on results.
While he was walking through the school to get to the room he was going to speak at he noticed a flyer.
That flyer was advertising another chiropractor who was going to come speak. His topic was all about how to get to 1000 patient visits per week.
My mentor started his talk referencing this flyer.
He asked the group of students….
“What’s the diagnosis guys?”
“Pound down high spots?”
“Pop and pray?”
His question was, are you really helping that patient if you are just adjusting their spine over and over again? He was challenging this group to think, no different than he had challenged me many times.
If you don’t take into context everything else in their body, can you truly make an accurate diagnosis, and therefore actually help that person?
And I couldn’t agree more with his line of questioning.
Chiropractic was founded on adjusting vertebrae to restore health. But it was also founded on looking at the body from a Trauma (Structural), Toxin (Chemical) and Autosuggestion (Emotion) standpoint.
Many of us now consider Emotion in the category of Electromagnetic.
So we have:
- Structural
- Chemical
- Electromagnetic
These are the 3 categories where any dysfunction in the human body comes from.
We call this the Triad of Health.
The early chiropractors paid attention to this, but the environment and food supply along with stress was much, much different then.
Many of them were correcting very serious conditions with only a few visits because the chemical makeup of peoples bodies was much better back then.
They didn’t have the level of poisoning and inflammation we have today.
If you look at the Results I have written up, you will see that I didn’t adjust people over and over again to get those results. I diagnosed what was happening in those 3 categories, corrected them, and the body (and vertebrae) normalized on their own.
No need for repeated chiropractic adjustments week after week, month after month.
My mentor was a problem solver, and I look at myself the same way. He taught me to think.
He taught me to look at what all happens to people…..
What Happens To People
Structural
- Spinal Subluxation
- Extremity Subluxation
- Soft Tissue Injury
- Cranial Subluxation
- Disc Problems
- Scar Tissue
- Trauma (Fractures, etc.)
Chemical
- Allergy, Autoimmune and pH Problems
- Infection
- Metabolic Toxicity (Disease With Cell Changes)
- Tissue Degeneration
- Toxicity (Poisoning)
- Functional Deficiency (Nutrition)
Electromagnetic
- Shock (Deep Traumatic Experiences)
- Lifestyle Limitations
- Cell Functioning Limitation Due To Energy Flow Blockages (Memories, Attitudes – Body Following The Mind)
- Electrical Pollution
- Radiation
My mentors taught me to have solutions for all of them. #1 to be able to diagnose the problem, but then to also figure out the solution.
The Chemical and Electromagnetic categories are more important now than ever before.
The chemical poisons we are exposed to are out of control. The chronic infections in people is astonishing. And the electrical pollution is at an all time high (cellphone, 5G, bluetooth, smart meters, etc.)
Most of my work is in these two categories and showing people how it is causing the recurring spinal subluxations.
Yes, I have to make spinal adjustments, but they are much reduced compared to what they would be if I didn’t address the other problems.
I will never forget that talk back in 2005.
The unfortunate thing is that the vast majority of students who were in attendance didn’t take his words to heart.
To this day almost all of them are “Pounding Down High Spots”.
