Chiropractic Is Exercise For Your Brain

I am pretty sure everybody on the planet knows how important exercise is to health.

Now, whether they engage in activity is another thing, but the benefits are tremendous. Increased lean muscle mass, improved fat burning, more balanced hormones, greater oxygenation to the cells, tissues, and glands, and improved mood are just some of the benefits.

But did you know that chiropractic has tremendous benefits as well?

Most people are under the assumption that chiropractic is all about pain relief. Things like neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, etc.

And you know what?

Chiropractic does help improve these problems.

But it isn’t even close to the true benefit of being under regular chiropractic care. Now, I don’t fault the average person for thinking this way because its our fault. Chiropractors that is.

For the last 20, 30 years or more chiropractors have been advertising with lightning bolts coming out of peoples backs, and stooped over postures. These chiropractors shaped the perception of what chiropractic is.

But I’m here to tell you…

That isn’t chiropractic!

Chiropractic is so profound and so powerful that the early pioneers of this great profession would end up in jail for promoting their beliefs (that is a whole different story, but it has to do with the American Medical Association). Do you think they would have willingly gone to jail if what they did was all about pain relief?

Heck no!

They knew that chiropractic was about life itself.

The American Medical Association (AMA) tried to shut them down, but they were so staunch in their beliefs that the body was self-healing and self-regulating, and was capable of healing itself given no interference, that they…

would

NOT

give

up

their

calling.

They intuitively KNEW that chiropractic was about the master control system of the ENTIRE body.

The wonderful and amazing nervous system.

It’s the one system that governs and controls EVERY OTHER SYSTEM. Your liver is pretty important, it filters, detoxifies, and does over 500 different functions for the body…

but it doesn’t control your heart.

Your heart is important. It pumps blood miles and miles every single day, giving life-giving oxygen and nutrients to the body and removing the waste…

but it also doesn’t control ANY OTHER ORGAN, GLAND, OR TISSUE IN THE BODY.

But the Central Nervous System controls everything.

It’s the master at the helm, giving directions and creating order out of potential chaos.

If this system if functioning optimally, good health ensues. But, if their is disturbance to this system from CHEMICAL, EMOTIONAL, OR PHYSICAL STRESS, the body starts to break down and create Dis-Ease, or the root of disease.

So, the past generation of chiropractors sold out (I don’t blame any of you reading this, insurance was great and you could provide for your family). But, it was the early pioneers of chiropractic that had it nailed. They didn’t have the science like we have now, but they KNEW what the truth was.

And that truth is that the chiropractic adjustment exercises the brain.

There is much more to this and I will expand upon it in future articles, but simply put, when a chiropractic adjustment is performed, the brain is stimulated into performing a higher level of organization.

 Brain on Chiropractic

 Alright, let me orient you.

This is somebody’s brain. This person was hooked up to an electroencephalograph (EEG). EEG’s measure brain waves.

The picture on the left shows the left and right hemispheres of their brain. Notice the lack of activity happening. The brain is not very organized at all.

Now compare this with the picture on the right. This EEG was taken 20 minutes AFTER a chiropractic adjustment. Notice the tremendous amount of activity change.

It still isn’t perfect, but this person is on their way to better health.

Their brain is being given the stimulus to make positive changes. Over time, and with continued regular adjustments (exercise for the brain), this person will completely change not only their current health, but their lifelong health potential as well.

This is not to be taken lightly.

The chiropractic adjustment has the biggest impact on the brain that anybody has ever seen.

When biofeedback and neurofeedback practitioners saw this data they were stunned. A few of them said it would take 100 to 200 sessions using their techniques to produce such a change, and a chiropractor can do it in ONE adjustment.

Powerful stuff.

So there you have it.

Now you know why chiropractic is the world’s bests kept health secret. Now you know WHY the early chiropractors were willing to sacrifice themselves and stand for TRUTH.

Computers were not around at the time so they couldn’t produce this kind of data, but they knew there was magic happening with an adjustment.

Far more than just providing pain relief.

Life was, and is, literally at stake.

But before I leave you, you must be aware that not all chiropractors are created alike. Most chiropractors are operating from the model of pain relief, and NOT optimal nervous system function.

Or, they might operate from the model of spinal health or something along those lines. That’s cool if you are looking for either of those. But, if you are looking for optimal nervous system function, you are going to have to dig a little deeper.

And pain relief and spinal health will occur naturally, when the nervous system is operating properly.
