This is one of those cases that took me 5 or 6 visits to figure out. It was really getting under my skin.
It realistically should have been easier, but there was a compounding problem related to living next to a golf course and being exposed to pesticides.
At first, due to my exam, I knew WHAT was happening and why the pain was there, but I couldn’t figure out WHERE it was coming from or WHY.
It was somewhat elusive.
Muscles I found weak [neurologically inhibited]…
- Sartorius
- Gracilis
- Posterior Tibialis
- Gastrocnemius
Each of them were a bilateral weakness.
This pattern is tied into the adrenal glands.
Little glands which sit on top of the kidneys that control the stress hormones.
The adrenal glands are essential for life. They secrete a number of hormones that prepare our bodies to respond to stress.
These hormones include:
- Adrenalin, also called epinephrine
- Noradrenalin, also called norepinephrine
- Cortisol
- Cortisone.
- Aldosterone
- Estrogens
- Testosterone
- Progesterone
- Pregnenolone
- DHEA
The muscles I found weak are on the same nerve circuit as the adrenal glands. With a problem in the gland, the muscles decrease their tone.
Normally with the right nutrients to support the overtaxed adrenal glands, the muscle power turns back on and the pains vanish.
Not this case.
Her feet felt better almost immediately, but the hips and knees were being stubborn.
Visit after visit this was the case. The Sartorius muscles would not normalize.
Sensing something wasn’t right, I asked her dad where they lived. Over by the gold course was his answer.
Bingo.
I knew the problem.
People who live on golf courses are exposed to a lot of pesticides.
I reasoned the pesticides were bothering her adrenal glands, causing the muscle weakness pattern.
When I found the right nutritional formulas, her Sartorius muscles instantly became strong as a rock.
Just a few days after I gave her the correct supplements to help her body remove the toxic chemicals, she started feeling better.
She was back to running at full speed around the bases.
It’s another reminder that you have to consider all angles. Every single person I see is different, and therefore needs different things to get well.
This case had nothing to do with anything mechanical. No scar tissue, no bones out of place, etc. It wasn’t really about nutrient depleted adrenal glands either.
It was a toxic situation.
The adrenal glands couldn’t function correctly with all that poison in them.
So, if you come in to see me be prepared for anything!
